Hello and Happy Mother's Day! We have had a busy and unusual couple of weeks and it's been difficult finding time to write. But we're still here, living and loving life. I promise to write again soon, but for now, I just wanted to pop in and wish you all a happy Sunday.
We spent Mother's day with my mom and my awesome daughter out at Sleepy Hollow State Park. Nicol bought us lunch which we ate at the campground, and after lunch, mom joined the girls and I for a walk before we settled in at the campsite for a visit in the rain.
Maddie and Peaches had a great time during our visit. Peaches was happy to spend hours watching all of the Spring birds flitting around through the trees.
It was a little chilly, but it was a nice day for a campfire and mom and Maddie found ways to stay warm and dry. A good day was had by all!
